born and raised in the southern united states, jim burer finds his inspiration in his surroundings. convinced that the environment of the south is truly unique for its variety of characters, beliefs and history, jim is dedicated to developing ideas and stories in the community in which he lives, and is committed to continuing to explore this rich culture.

a n g u s   g r o o v e  also represents the overwhelming desire of jim burer to create narrative film works and carve out a professional career as a filmmaker. his true goal is to allow his voice to find its home in feature length narrative film.
