i found much of s o n · o f · m a n  really accomplished--the film sustained a consistent and interesting tone, which is a pretty rare thing. that said, i found the pacing a little methodical and the runtime a little long--it's often hard for us to place and/or make good use of longer short films. some of the symbolism also felt a bit heavy-handed for my taste. obviously, these decisions are one part objective and one part subjective.
